Energy Transmission System for Artificial Heart

Human being is one of the most wonderful living thing in this world. The main organ for this living being is the heart. This heart pumps and circulates the blood to all the other organs in the body. But if once the paths through which the blood pumps gets closed then the pumping of blood is stopped, which leads to death of every living being. So, for proper pumping is done with the energy lying within the living creature. But, if once the energy is not sufficient then, the situation leads to  death of the living being. So here is a new transmission technique through which the artificial heart gets pumped with blood.

In this technique we use a electrical circulatory assist devices such as total artificial heart or ventricular assist devices generally use a brushless dc motor as their pump. This system requires 12 to 35 watts of power, a portable battery backup and a dc-dc converter. It requires a transcutaneous transformer to supply power to the motor which helps to pumps the blood to the artificial heart and then circulates to the other parts in the body. The secondary of the transformer is placed inside the skin and primary is placed above the skin. The range of distance in between both the windings of the transformer will be almost equal to patient’s skin thickness. The phenomenon known as magnetizing inductance is done here through the flow of current through the coils so the most of the primary current will flow through the secondary through which the motor gets enough energy to pump the blood successfully through the artificial heart.

Description of a System, from Ideal to Failure

A System can be in any of 7 states. The description of the states of a system, provided here, is applicable to all the real-time systems, ranging from computers systems to high end missiles, a human personnel to an organization.

IDEAL
An ideal state is a standard of perfection, existing merely as an image in the mind or based upon a person or upon conduct.
If the obtained outcome matches with the expected output, then the system is said to be in an Ideal state.
DEFECTIVE
A defect refers to various troubles within the software products, with its external behavior or with its internal features.
It may be a mistake in coding or logic that causes a program to malfunction or to produce inappropriate results.
FAULTY
Fault is the representation of a defect at the abstracted function level.
It is an incorrect step, process, or data definition in a computer system which causes the program to perform in an unintended manner.
It is an unattractive or unsatisfactory feature, especially in a piece of work.
It is an abnormality at the component, equipment, or sub-system level which may finally lead to a failure.
ERRONEOUS
An error is the manifestation of the fault in the system.
It is an identified difference between a computed, observed, or measured value or condition and the true, specified, or theoretically correct value or condition.
MALFUNCTIONING
A malfunction is the state of an object that functions wrongly or does not function at all.
It is considered reproducible if it occurs consistently under similar circumstances.

DEGRADED
A state of degradation means to lower in estimation, which results in reduction of quality or value.
If the service degrades outside the bounds, the service is considered failed.
FAILED
The inability of a system to perform its required intended functions within specified performance requirements.
A system failure occurs when the delivered service deviates from the specified expected service in fulfilling the system function.
A failure occurs when fault executes.

Illustrating Example:

Consider a Computer System which is functioning properly. A defect in SMPS fan creates heat in SMPS, which may cause an Improper power supply to components. As a result, an error may occur in components like data transmission problems in system buses. This causes malfunctioning of components, which results in degradation of the system like system struck-ups and finally ends up with the system failure.

Crime and Media

If we go through the newspaper of the day, it will end up with the news elucidating the crimes around the city rather than the news describing the inventions or schemes which makes people benefitted by it. I could clearly make statement that newspapers are becoming crime magazine with full of bloodshed pictures on the next day of the crime took place. Likewise even electronic media is also deteriorating situation than any other media with the technologies they adopted. Are they working according to their ethics? Absolutely I could say “No”.

Whatever the media, it’s electronic or print media; their intention is to bring out the news from the place where sunlight couldn’t even pass through. Whether it is crime news or anything else, they want it to be presented by themselves at first to get over from the competitors. Even common man in the village can make out that these media are meant for business in the name of public service and media also knew that common man in village predicted their tactics which are used to enhance the business. Are they up to what they meant for? Absolutely we will hear a voice of million people saying “No” in response to the above question.

Now days, news channel are emerging like unwanted plants growing in barren lands and they got more enough time to present news in their styles. They will zoom in and out the flash news with attracting colors along with video at the corner of the screen and repeat the same news until they find it bore. If city remains calm, then they will make show on crimes casting the people in it and make us clear how crime had happened through this people in the show. Are they doing those shows to take safety measures from repeating these sorts of crime at their nearby locality?

Few people are considering this stuff in positive way and ensuring themselves from becoming prey to these crimes, but some people are making full use of it as e-learning to do crimes without leaving clues. This sort of shows on crime is like waking up the sleeping lion by piercing needle.
